Dr. David Solomon - Chair

Dr David Solomon AM began his career as a journalist in Canberra working as a political correspondent for several papers.

He is a barrister and author. He has written 11 books in the fields of politics, government and constitutional law.

In 2000 he was awarded a Doctorate of Letters by the Australian National University. In 2006 he was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia in recognition of his service to journalism as a commentator on legal, political and constitutional law issues.

He has recently served as a member of the Judges Salaries and Allowances Tribunal and was a contributing editor with The Courier Mail.
